You could say my career started at the age of 12. Growing up on a farm, I was driving tractors and feeding animals before I even realized what a “workday” was! It’s funny to think that backyard chickens and fruit trees were my first gig, but as much as I loved farm life, I soon realized they didn’t quite pay the bills. That’s when I got serious about turning my hands-on upbringing into a real career.
Fast forward to today, and I’ve built Kita Excavating from the ground up, specializing in everything from rock walls to earthwork and underground utilities. Along the way, I’ve picked up not just technical skills, but also the ability to manage people, solve problems on the fly, and most importantly, help turn people’s dreams into reality. I’m incredibly grateful for the team and relationships that have grown with the business over the years.
